 Position

Northwest Motor Service is seeking a Field Service Technician.  We offer world class service and resources for the maintenance of our customer’s machines, equipment and facilities. Hours for this position are based on customer’s maintenance needs and will vary. The Field Service Technician uses their skill set to diagnose and repair a wide variety of equipment found in municipal, marine and industrial locations. 

 

 Job Responsibilities

Provide field service, maintenance and repairs in various locations generally within a 2 -hour radius of Longview, WA.  As a Field Service Technician you will be working on electric motors, motor controls, starters, pumps and more.  You must be a self-starter, eager to “hit the road” and derive great satisfaction in getting customer’s equipment up and running.

As a Field Service Technician with NWMS, experience working on

equipment in an industrial environment is preferred. We are looking for a Technician that is willing to do whatever is necessary to provide great customer service. In this position you will be working in both inside and outside environments. As a Field Service Technician you must be able to manage time, set priorities and provide customer service in a professional manner. Excellent communication skills are a must for this position as you will be communicating with superiors, customer personnel, co-workers, and others associated with the company’s business.
